The seventh studio album of Blink 182 will this year after five years of absence in the music industry. This is the most important album in the history of the band because it was developed without the founder of it, Tom DeLong, who early last year finally decided to leave the group.
According to drummer Travis Barker, this April Blink 182 will release a new single whose name has not yet been revealed, after "Neihborhoods" in 2011. It is also the first in which no part DeLong being officially replaced by Matt Skiba who is also leader of bands like Alkaline Trio. Now the lead vocalist Mark Hoppus will in most songs and will support Skiba.
According to Barker disk it is ready, just need to choose the songs that will be part of his new job and they wrote about 27 songs, but want to reduce them to 12 or maximum 14 pieces that feel they reflect the effort of their work.
