While the musicians through their lifestyle, personality and sound allow others to identify. Also, they are become a community spokesmen. Music in adolescence is critical, there are many changes and is a time of discovery, the sound that accompanies the listener says a lot about himself, his identity, what interests or desires to be.
Music is not just something that can identify ourselves as individuals and as a community. Throughout life, especially in adolescence, human beings seek to belong, or have someone with whom to share. Music, at that age becomes a topic of conversation involving a way to make friends.
Indeed, those similar musical tastes can form a group of friends with similar interests, it is a way to communicate and integrate. It is likely that all teenage friends have at least one group that everyone likes.
In my teenage time, Rock, Reggae and Reggaeton were the sounds descaban occasionally Ballad and Pop made their appearance. Rock listeners usually not heard any of the following genera, but there was always a moment where a song caught you, enough to hear repeatedly.
In my group of friends listened Rock, whose bands were foreign (Green Day, Good Charlotte, My Chemical Romance and Blink- 182). The funny thing is that the Latin sound always calls and meetings or birthday music was America only placed salsa, merengue and even Reggaeton, and most continued that pace, others not.
Although the history of musical genres are conceived in a given geographic area, as in the case of Grunge in Seattle (USA) or Tango in Argentina. What they represent, their message will always be connected to others through the emotions and thoughts.
For each stage of life, there is a sound. It will be loud, soft, happy or sad, it all depends on the listener. The good news is that will always be there whenever and wherever we want.
