In mid-2015, Andres Calamaro and pianist Germán Weidemer came together to prepare the repertoire they would use to open the Bob Dylan concert in Spain. What appeared to be a set of routine test, he ended up becoming "Found Recordings Volume III - Romaphonic Sessions", the new album Calamaro.
The disc will become the 3rd part of the above "Found Recordings", published in 1993 and 1996 and will go on sale next February 26, on vinyl, CD and digital. Also, this new album Calamaro has the peculiarity that was recorded in only two days, between 27 and 28 May 2015, in Romaphonic studies (ex Circo Beat).
On the website of Calamaro a statement which states that was published: "something in the sound of these recordings reminds jazz recordings made in the early fifties, when musicians afternoon met (probably a night) , remembered a repertoire and burn it with the performance of the time. Much has been written of the scarce resources that had the first recordings of rock, but ten years before resources were less and yet the sound of those legendary recordings remains crisp and the sound is never outdated or insufficient.
