That's how I found poetry in Vallenato

It is rare to find people who like the Vallenato, and yet, they like the Rock. It also happens the other way around, few people who like Rock and like the Vallenato. Since childhood I always preferred the Rock, but I started listening Vallenato unintentionally, just because my neighbors esuchaban.

So I grew up with these songs in my memory, and although it was not afin that melody, eventually I remembered the letters, which for me were just letters.

Later I met groups that versionaban songs already known in various genres. From Rock to Jazz, Rock to Merengue, Reggaeton Vallenato, but I always wondered, what if the Vallenato is versioned in another genre like Rock?

A few rockeritos musicians I mentioned this concern, and most seemed an offense. I, for my part kept trying to hear the letters and some began to like me, but not enough to hear them all the time. It was just something a moment.

While the rhythms that arise in a similar area as the beach, allow other people with the same regional characteristics are connected. And so it was, did his music. Accompanying a friend to not fall asleep while driving I asked him about his musical tastes. Notably they are quite interesting when he is getting stale (no sleep all night).

And suddenly, put this song (blank sheet) I knew the words and rhythm, because my neighbors heard many times.

Suddenly, the two, as lately accustomed to, began to sing and fly flies in another direction, my walk I stepped into a tunnel of Caracas.   I asked the driver of the vehicle You know what that song means ?. What he respondióo: A guy (man) left to go to a chick (female) gafo (bobo, slow) and went with another.

More or less so, it was what told me. At that time, the song and the situation was not more important, but a few days later, things happen, I was very confused about a situation, and one always looks for those rhythms that make you happy, especially when there is sadness or melancholy. Just to lift your spirits. And the music against all, it does, most of the time.

I heard the song again, and the letter almost makes me mourn, I felt so sad history. It was like a film that started associated with life events of my life.

Then I realized that the sound of Reggae had invited me to listen carefully, but the orginal song in Vallenato, which to my knowledge is a subject that was written for that genre, it is very necessary, because it gives all its meaning.

There is the power of music. Connecting lives and stories through time and space.

That second time this week that I heard, I loved the way that story, so simple and so poetic, so romantic, typical of Latin thought was written, but like when you watch a movie, happens when you hear a song, sometimes not stay happy with the end of the story.

Not understand why if the author loved the muse of song let her go. And then I remembered a saying that said, "If you love something, let it go. If he comes back, it's yours"

Now I understand that much courage to love is not required, but to let fly that person you love because you have no other choice, because you want to be happy or because you know you are going to go back.

Regardless of the outcome, music is not only a sound that accompanies you is therapeutic, a silent psychiatrist, eternal faithful friend or lover, music is a company that helps us make the sound / meaning to life.
