Cyndi Lauper, Perry Farrell, The Roots, Jakob Dylan, The Mountain Goats and Heart's Ann Wilson are among the artists who have already confirmed their participation in a special concert that will be held in memory of the British artist David Bowie.
The event will be held at Carnegie Hall in New York on 31 March and is expected to be the first of many tributes that deservedly make the music world this rock star who died Sunday after battling for 18 months with cancer.
Other stars have already expressed through social networks solidarity for the death of the artist, including exbeatle Paul McCartney, who even shared a photograph beside her. However, there has been no other immediate confirmation concert on his behalf.
The header Bowie producer Tony Visconti, will be responsible for coordinating and musical director of the event, along with Michael Dorf, who had already organized a tribute to Bob Dylan.
Then one of the two recent videos of Bowie in which, almost as an omen, the subject of death is recurrent.
