Rumors and uncertainties are clarified for all fans of the important Californian band Blink-182 after a publication that made his drummer Travis Baker, through his Instagram account where he confirmed that the group will release its seventh studio album next year 2016.
The new news is very important for the band, because in early years, Ton DeLounge, a founding member of the group, decided to step aside and follow his path alone, leaving threatened the future of the group. According to Travis, the band intended to release an album next year with the presence of Skiba, confirming that they are working on a new album, without revealing any other details at the time, only it was known that the band has been working on the study, composing and "maqueteando" new songs that defined as "an encounter between the old Blink-182 and the old Alkaline Trio".
The album will succeed Neighborhoods 2011 and is the first work of the group without one of its founding members, Tom DeLonge.
Blink-182 was released in the nineties of the last century and reached a remarkable popularity with his album Enema of the State in 1999. Its beginnings date back to August 2, 1992 by Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus and Scott Raynor (who later it would be replaced by Travis Barker) in Poway, California.
In 2005 the band decides to separate and take several years off. In 2009 it was announced that the trio was charged with presenting an award at the Grammys, being the first time in 5 years that the band appeared on stage and announcing his return.
