The ten years of C4Trío

At first there were three talents, Jorge Glem, Edward Ramirez and Hector Molina. The intention was to unite around the instrument that share, the Venezuelan cuatro, and draw from that little instrument all possible sonorities.

The result is a work that is becoming more and better results. In a time of transition, the trio -autobautizado as C4Trío- adopted a more sound, the necessary low Rodner Padilla, who brought depth to three fours.

I love the story of four as instrument, because it is derived from the old Renaissance guitar, and fastened it in Venezuela, in the same way as other instruments did the same in other regions of Latin America. Such is the case of Puerto Rican cuatro, cavaquinho Brazilian, Colombian tiple, the South American Andean charango, Mexican revelry.

You love me, too, how the fourth remains an instrument accompanying the melodies in almost all the Venezuelan folklore; and how, thanks to the talent and sustained youth work as Glem, Ramirez and Molina, achieves truly remarkable and even unexpected sonorities. For example, there are no borders that these cuatristas can not reach: it is not only the score of the four strings, as do guitarists.

They also achieve plucking sounds which alternate with the strumming. And more: when they want, amazes his audience running true cordage, so versatile, you are able to integrate all as if they were a single instrumentalist and one instrument.

At this time, C4Trío celebrates its first ten years, with performances, concerts, and, above all, with the ability to reinvent itself. It is instrumental music, and also accompanying singers like work with Rafael "Pollo" Brito and Gualberto Ibarreto; and the coming soon with Oscar D'Leon, our greatest sonero.

That is, that these ten years of this outstanding group is crowned with a deserved success Grammy Latino, obtained in 2014 for his album "Suddenly".
