The Black Fever is a post-punk band based in Toronto, composed of Shoe (vocals, guitar), Pat Bramm (bass, back-up vocals), and Dan Purpura (drums). The trio mixes guitar-based influences with lead bass lines and propulsive drums, focused on concise songwriting.
Their latest release “Nowhere” was written about the troubles experienced by their generation. Economically, socially, politically, environmentally, and now health-wise, people in their teens to 40s are not living their best lives.
