Annie Stokes' Latest Release Is Real Good

Finding new artists is a huge passion for us here, but when we come across an artist who is talented AND funny… well we consider that a jackpot win. Annie Stokes is a breath of fresh air for her listeners, and brings in more personality to her tracks than most artists ever consider doing. 

Annie’s debut release, “Real Good” is, as she describes “an anthem for folks who are trying their best.” So, basically you, me, and everyone else. This track is particularly applicable for the 2020 versions of ourselves… you know what I’m talking about. The version that stays in the same sweatpants until 4pm, and starts drinking earlier and earlier each week (because it’s 5 o’clock somewhere… right?)

“I’m gonna quit drinking… I’m gonna be real good.” It’s not everyday we feel like an artist is singing our internal monologue, but Annie has nailed the mental motivation we all have when we reassess our lives on a Sunday night and vocalize our hopes for the next week. And although we may not succeed, we are surviving so far. 

Whether it is her smooth vocals, her country and roots sound, or her hysterical Instagram feed, we have fallen in love with Annie Stokes, and we know our readers will too.
