Aquilo, a U.K. alternative duo consisting of Tom Higham and Ben Fletcher, are noted for quiet pondering songs that touch upon human nature. Calling Me, from the EP of the same name touches upon a young man's dream to become a ballet dancer and the taunting that he faces in and out of the school:
A light piece of glass
Begins to fall, it makes me wonder
How do I make use of this?
I stumble around to find that
This is all I've got
I stumble around to find that
This is all I need

His confusion gives way to an almost immediate realization that perhaps all he really needs is dance as that's all that he has. The stumbling around seems like the first baby steps that he faces in his challenge. When he goes, oh, and the wake up is calling me home, it reminds one of the full realization that he's come to and that he can be content with what he's doing in this space and time. Despite this, he goes on to say:
A sudden thought of disbelief
Clouds my every conscience
But how do we seek refuge here?
I panic a bit to find out that
This is all I've got
I panic a bit to find out that
This is all I need

He's uncertain of his future in dance, hence his question in the above stanza. Even then in his mild panic, he realizes that dance is the future for him.
