Wild Fur is quickly becoming one of the hottest bands on the East Coast. Having the thrill of experiencing the band live at The Crying Wolf in Nashville, I was pleasantly surprised by what I had heard. On my radar since the tail end of last year with their impressive release, Feel Free, the group really brought their all to the stage. Their hypnotic set was equally dreamy as it was statically alluring. Standouts of the night included "Can You See Me," which brought their live presence to a whole new level. Vocally and musically the band are on point, and frontman Wylie Hunter's voice is echoing and enticing as the band chime in from point to point with notable harmonies. One thing in particular that I loved about seeing Wild Fur live, is their overall stage vibe. Though The Crying Wolf may not be the biggest venue in the world, Wild Fur's tonality and stage prowl made it feel like you were in Madison Square Garden. And that, is what a great band is all about. One day, no doubt soon, we'll see them in the arena.
