Happy, Happy and Worth It?

Whoa, "Happy Pills" by Weathers has to be something of a questionable song. Maybe questionable in the sense of pure psychotic breakdown. Another L.A. based band, which you can clearly hear the City Of Angels sensation. Even after learning that Weathers is L.A. based "Happy Pills" become ever so more clear about what the song is about. Because whether we like it or not, when a song is written that song tends to ahve an imprint of the city or town it was written in. "Happy Pills' couldn't sound more like L.A. (if you've been or lived there) if it wanted to. This is playing it close to heart and after a while a few pills may not even be needed because "Happy Pills" easily gives off an ode of crazy in measures.

Even the lyrical/music video shows a the signs of abundance and debauchery in progress. Some call this type of music stoner rock, stoner indie or anything that might sound like if stoned. Now because a possible drug reference (that everyone will probably compare the track to) Weathers has a gift for elaborate detail. Based on production and mixing elements, "Happy Pills" has several factors playing about, easily this track could have become a muddled destortment of sound. Yet behind the loud "Happy Pills" freakishly comes off as punctual and clever.
