Goldensuns have popped out their latest track 'Gold Chains' where Funk rhythms are processed through a slight trembling and tragic lyrically magic. Instead of being a sole dedicated Dance power track, Goldensuns with an unusual step, launched a specific type of tone playing with synths and a possible reverbed/fuzz electric guitar. Yet it would be half way through 'Gold Chains' as a paralyzing zest forcefully transitions through electronic fuzz to a light-hearted tag with (and if this were possible) a glas/metal harp.
Given that Goldensuns disturbs only those of us that have a problem with any slight Disco reference...will find ourselves savoring this track. Not for even a second, at any point is 'Gold Chains' unbareable or preaching it's funky sound. A natural, organic presence seems to float above the song and bend around the edges.
Hopefully the best genre description for this track would be psychedelic-disco-funk groove, if only the band where riding high on a light powered horse playing garage fuzz guitar.
