In Choir of Mourning

Song reviewed by:

Even though Hannah Georgas impliments an indie cred appeal, one can not help but since an underlying jazz element. Then again with the melancholy actively placid in 'Don't Go'. As the title of this review suggests, a particular type of mourning rears its head. Hannah Georgas throws us a picture of what the consequences would be if and when someone where to leave (or leave this world). As heartfelt as Hannah seems, their is a "sorry" tension that does not go unnoticed.

What Hannah Georgas relates is a forward thinking ideal (whether Hannah has experienced death within her immediate circle of family or friends). Marked by tragedy, Georgas brings out an elegant sensation of understanding which typically happens after grieving the loss.

Upbeat without coming off as campy or techno. 'Don't Go' traps an acoustic realism and an electronic symphony of echoes, by trusting the listener to fully appreciate the vital importance this song conveys.
