Devilish Intentions

Bryce Fox buries a darker edge with his single Horns. The song sounds exactly the way one would suspect with such a track title. The explosive way the song starts out leads the listener into an adrenaline pumping chorus, where Bryce Fox adjusts a faster pace with a much slower one between verse's and the chorus. By switching up the tempo, we are receiving a fun heart racing panic until the sullen tone comes on, talking about a woman that is literally possibly the devil.

It's as if Jonsi, Patrick Wolf and Ed Sheeran came together to mix and produce with ridiculous love child that ultimately may upstage them all. Bryce Fox attempts a full fated loud sound by succeeding epically and not once does Bryce ever slip up. Not to say that Horns is too overly polished with production, in fact their are elements that reflect a live recording sort of sound.

However it must be difficult in one song showing how vocally diverse Bryce can be. Because in Horns their are about six different varied levels between soft spoken, singing like a member of The Black Keys, a bit of Hip-Hip, Rap and that lovely Indie yell singing that has taken over each Indie album that has come out in the last three years.

Call Bryce Fox a treasure to behold, Horns does even to win over certain individuals, we just hope that live is exactly the same way.
