Almost every prominent artist loves Troye Sivan. This South African-born Australian singer was first known as a YouTuber for many young fans especially teenage girls and even some boys. His YouTube channel consumed almost more than 3.7 million subscribers and let us not forgets on how he came out there in an emotional but honest video two years ago. But it is not his positive and good-natured humor that makes him the next music artist to watch out for. Troye Sivan’s sprightly enthusiasm gives Adele the chills, multi-Grammy award winner Sam Smith says that his lonely voice “does things to my body”. And I could not agree more, Sivan’s warm, clean and never too edgy style of singing or producing lyrics with sexy but not stupid tempos is signs that he knows how far he needs to take it. I am expecting more from him and hoping he stay true to what he wants with his career. I want him to continue making songs stunning with lyrics that most teenagers like I am, can sing into and also his style of layered electro pop with a little EDM magic. But if there’s something I want for him to change is his obsession with sad topics. Most of his songs are breakup songs and he has the talent to incorporate those feelings through his music and he’s good at it. I just want him to try other things and I’m sure he will kill it too.
