Holy Is The Lord

Chris Tomlin does it again with his song “Holy Is The Lord.” Indeed, the Lord is very holy. He is the holiest of holy. Tomlin does a great job of turning a bit of scripture into a fabulous song that Christians everywhere could sing along to. The Lord is definitely the Alpha and the Omega, the great Lord Almighty—which Tomlin proclaims in the chorus of the song. The earth in pockets is filled with His glory but also the earth is ravaged in many ways by the devil. If you are in search of some music to get you through the first phases of your Christian life, then this is for you. The version I reference on Youtube has an optional chant like section of parts of the chorus that balloon the track to just over six minutes in length.
