With live sets and productions that their own mothers describe as, “sounds nice, but a little loud,” these two always put on a show. When I first saw their video together without knowing their names, I thought they were brothers. Apart from their unique personalities and boy-next-door looks, they have many similarities. They each graduated from prestigious North-Eastern Universities and they have made it in the music industry and they have really made it big.
The Chainsmokers have become the hottest young American DJ duo to enter the edm scene. Their live shows are becoming the most in demand in the edm realm. Their wild antics, humorous personalities, and addicting events have fans interacting with them non-stop and running to see them live every chance they get. Their signature music has its foundations in Indie, Progressive and Pop Music.
They have gotten immense support by friends such as Nicky Romero, Steve Aoki, Pete Tong, and more. Their first major release, #SELFIE, and its official music video swept the world so look out for much more to come.
The first song I have heard from Chainsmokers is officially their song #SELFIE and with each beat of my heart resounding those of the songs beat, I have quite grew fond of the electronic vibe that these artists are giving. Their song was not much deep about the lyrics but they sure have a way of widening their horizons as well as their listeners. Eventually they collaborated with artists such as “Rozes” for the track “Roses” and other various artists. Greatly infectious to the ears, their songs always have the drug effect on listeners and I claim to be one of their avid followers.
They have already gathered such fame and such legacy in such a short notice and their song “Inside Out” would surely be approved and enjoyed by electronic dance music enthusiasts. Not only it has a sick beat but the lyrics would appeal to the emotions. Short and concise as they may seem, the words are perfectly arranged in a manner that would awestruck the listeners. They would be both amused and amazed by the song, especially the perfect combination of the duo’s heart-pounding beat combined with Charlee’s thin and eargasmic voice.
