No Hope As The Vaccines Idealize Coming Of Age

I could write endlessly about the band The Vaccines. Whether you love to hate or love to love the band, come on their second album Come Of Age was a stroke of pure music freedom. The Vaccines are known to challenge the progression of time with nostalgia and growing up. In the same way, people attend therapy somehow The Vaccines open the doors towards a free speech stream of consciousness just expertly mixed with guitar, bass, and drums.

Even better is that with the band there is no self-explained apology just a simplistic this is what you get. Specifically, No Hope shows how teenagers to young adults find a steady foot or none at all. No Hope has the intention to showcase that no one knows what the hell they are doing in their twenties. Whether given the day, week or even the person's mood... we are easily bored or striving to find meaning in each piece of advice given to us through an older generation. Then again nowadays that older generation is faltering as the current generation is focused on finding their own meaning.

Besides swinging off point before, Come Of Age does not strive away from the title meaning. As part of an audience, The Vaccines presented a classic album with all the right motions towards idealism.

In the music video for No Hope, paired in a black and white film a young gentleman runs around with a handful of wildflowers. Afterward laying those wildflowers outside of an older woman's house, one in particular that this young gentlemen likes. Offering a great incentive towards the No Hope accusation.

Maybe The Vaccines focused on how life turns in all sorts of directions. Never quite knowing where you'll end up at the end of the day, yet these phases while growing up eventually make up how we turn out as adults.
