Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

My name is Kip Rando. I'm here to get jacked and make some good fucking music.

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

I come from a family plauged with addiction. this highlights some of the cycles you see.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

Started off as a DJ in 2018, but wanted to make my own music when I got to college.

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

Alternative Hip Hop and Alternative Rock

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

Im starting to find my sound that I'm confident in. I've dabbled in hip hop and punk in the past, those influences are definitely noticable on upcoming releases.

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

Sex, Drugs and Addiction

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

Motorhead because of their gritty, loader than life persona. Plus they have gotten me through a lot of grimey workouts. RIP Lemmy.

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

I am influenced by punk and metal, specifically 90's but include melodic vocals.

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

A lot of my unreleased shit that I am sitting on is my favorite, but out right now I would have to say 'You Ruined my Night'. The whole song is very emo punk and everything was freestyled, including DecemberDescent's part. I remember we were in the studio and this was like our fith song we had recorded that night and just wanted to go into it blind essentially instead of coming up with a hook and bridge and all that shit.

If you could only listen to three artists for the rest of your life, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

I'm very inconsistent in what I like, but i do constantly come back to Motorhead, Ozzy,  and Jean Dawson. Motorhead for their pure energy, Ozzy for his one of a kind voice, and Jean just knows how to craft amazing sound.

What does your dream performance look like?
Answer:

If I can come anywhere close to Ozzy Osbourne playing 'Bark at the Moon' while an eclipse is happening, I think I could die a happy man.

Who is your dream artist or musician to collaborate with?
Answer:

Ozzy for sure. Living Legend

What three words would you want your fanbase to use to describe you?
Answer:

Fat-jacked (but he's working on it lol) Alternative Cowboy

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
Answer:

I make music on what I see and feel, of course that is changing constantly so there will never be one emotion a person will feel throughout my catalouge.

Do you practice? How has your practice changed over time?
Answer:

Just like weight training, it is a gradual growth. So finding time no matter what you are doing is essential.

What is the most memorable response you've had to your work?
Answer:

showing people my music and then later finding them singing it or listening o the song when they don't know I'm there.

How do you plan on being a game-changer within your genre?
Answer:

I am inspired by old school WWE (90's era) and want to bring that image to music, accompanied by a fitting sound.

What has been your scariest experience while pursuing music?
Answer:

Looking back my first songs I ever released were absolute dog water. It's scary looking back now and going how the hell did I not know.

What is your definition of success as an artist? How do you measure this success?
Answer:

If I'm actively making fans and can go on a tour and not lose money.

What has been your most embarassing moment while pursuing music?
Answer:

Listening back to my first few songs.

What jobs have you done other than being an artist?
Answer:

Working in live sound production.

Name three artists you’d like to be compared to.
Answer:

Its hard to say, but for sure Paris Texas, maybe like Kenny Mason or some of Jean Dawson.

What is the most significant lesson you've learned through being an artist?
Answer:

It takes time to craft shit, but you have to know when to just let go and release it.
