Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

Hi I am Igor Lisul, I am a selftaught lefthanded rock guitarist from Serbia.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

My earliest memory of listening to music come from days of childhood.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

I wanted to become an artist at the age of 10 when I picked up my first small acoustic guitar, that had only 3 strings.

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

"Sunrise" is very uplifting and joyful art rock virtuoso guitar instrumental.

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

I write guitar instrumentals about love, nature, friendship, childhood, soul and any other beautiful things that one can sense or imagine.

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

Not sure about this. On my musical journey I met many really great artists, who deserve much more attention than those traditional artists.

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

I would like to recommend listening my music to everyone looking for peace of heart and mind, relaxation and joy.

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

"For Naomi" written for my beloved princess Naomi, the master of piano from Japan.

What does your dream performance look like?
Answer:

Well, I think my music isn't suitable for large stages, so I would be satisfied performing in smaller venues for smaller group of fans.

Who is your dream artist or musician to collaborate with?
Answer:

My dream artist is my princess Naomi from Japan, although we already made a collaboration. It was the story how it all actually started.

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
Answer:

I would be glad if my music could make people happy, relaxed and inspired.

What three words would you want your fanbase to use to describe you?
Answer:

Vintage, rock virtuoso guitar master.

What is your favorite way of sharing your music?
Answer:

At the moment I am sharing music only via internet, on different music platforms.

Do you practice? How has your practice changed over time?
Answer:

Today I practice guitar 1-2 hours per day. In my early twenties I used to practice more than 6 hours per day.

What is your definition of success as an artist? How do you measure this success?
Answer:

Being a true artist isn't easy thing. I think creativity requires balance concerning popularity so each true artist should keep that in mind. I think the most important thing for an artist is to keep him/herself as a kind person, someone who wants to share his/her artistry with people and make them happy, rather than being a pretender and seeking only for glory.

How do you plan on being a game-changer within your genre?
Answer:

It is difficult to be a game-changer today. As I said, there are many talented musicians, artists  who are unknown and disrespected for the great music they play and create.

What role do you believe the artist has in our society?
Answer:

Well, I think artist's main role should be making people happy and relaxed and the world would look much brighter that way.

If you could alter the music industry in any way, what would you change and why?
Answer:

I think there should be more cheaper opportunities for artists' music promotion first of all, such as reviews, promotion packages, services and there should be more free promotional tools aswell.

What is the most significant lesson you've learned through being an artist?
Answer:

Always be inspired and remain tenacious.

Do you have one main reason driving you to continue making music?
Answer:

Music is my life, I express myself with music and I couldn't live without music.
