The Shameless Band Perspective on It's Alright
“In the midst of chaos lies great opportunity,” as noted by Albert Einstein; and proven by The Shameless Band. In 2019, the band, then known as “Shades” to represent their diversity, led the first music program established at a non-profit health plan. They made such an impression that the CEO and President of the Yamaha Music and Wellness Institute approached the band for collaboration and partnership to spread music programs in the business sector for wellness and engagement. The band’s passion for extending life, love, and positivity through music was well on its way until 2020, when COVID chaos happened. And the world shut down.
The band went separate ways while three band members, Kory Body, Danny Castro and Michael Lopez found brotherhood, collective courage, and a shared passion for keeping their dreams alive. Thus, The Shameless Band. They refused to conform to the expectation of being canceled due to the pandemic. Instead, with no regrets, they wrote “Cancel Me,” their first official release from their debut album, “Less is More.”
The Shameless Band first embarked on their musical voyage of discovery together as a tight-knit Music Band in 2019. But their origin goes back earlier to when the band members grew up listening to various musical genres that played an influential role in shaping their paths as musicians and ultimately led them to join forces. The Shameless Band has collectively found their signature sound and offers something different and unique to their fans by creating, and writing what they feel. It's Alright came from a place of longing to settle down and to simply find love.
The band comes from gospel music and music royalty. Music was heard from birth in every band members home. Singing playing music, and instruments has been a way of life since day one.
We like to think the genres we fit into best is Indie/Rock/Pop/Country/Americana
Our sound is always evolving because, all the members of the band all write, play and produce. We understand that we can't all have what we want at the same time.
If The Shameless Band could go on tour with anyone, We would go with Chris Stapleton or John Mayer. The reason why is just to learn from the best on how to do it night after night on the road.
We would have to say Michael Jackson or James brown. We would again love to learn from the best.
Our Fav song to date is B.E.L, It's so fun to preform, and everyone always really gets into that song.
Chris Stapelton, John Mayer and Prince because they all write, play, sing and know what the hell they are doing when they do it. lol
It looks like 1hr 1/2 of nothing but our music flawless, and the crowd going wild the whole time.
Every ''colab'' is a dream if it is done right.
It was a demo song on a kids casio keyboard.
honestly, I want people to feel every emotion possible.

We always practiced, and now we practice more.
Just people running up telling us how much they really enjoy what we do.
We mesure success by how much we love what we do. Success is catching and releasing.
We don't plan that we just are. We believe anyone can change the game at any given time.
I believe the artist role in society is to just entertain
that no one would except what we were doing, but they did and they do
Too many to count. Musicians are always doing something to embarass themselves.
I would alter the record labels roll, so that the artist could make a bit more money.
You name it I think one of us has done it. It just comes with the ground you cover trying to make it work as a musician.
We all write. i think that is a passion that we lean into.
Yes. We love it.
No not at all. It's the other way around. we always have friends, family and each other.
Everything is a song. Everything is some form of art.
Our family.
Practice, practice and more practice. Practice makes for a great sound, not perfect.
We believe we identify with all forms of art. it is just inside of us wanting to come out.
To tour the entire world.
