Goodbye Dodo Perspective on Gaman

Goodbye Dodo is an instrumental post rock band formed in early 2022. It is currently formed by 4 members: Andrés Reynoso (guitar), Eduardo Campos (guitar), Eduardo Lozano (bass) and Daniel Bear (drums).
The project was originally formed as a way to express repressed emotions and experiment with different rock influences and several of its sub genres (alternative, math, midwest, post, etc).
We are more inclined towards post rock in instrumental format, because of the creative and interpretative freedom it gives us. Having already defined the genre and 4 more songs composed, we released our debut EP where “Bucle” appears, which is, as of the day written in the bio, our most played song.
So far, all our productions have been homemade, recorded in our rehearsal room, produced and mixed by Daniel Bear, mastered by Jorge Rodriguez.
In this new stage of the project, we are working on the release of new productions together with Fede Kemp (production, recording) and Miguel Fraino (mixing and mastering).
Recently, we were fortunate to be selected by Austin TV to open the show they had last August 30, 2024 in our native San Luis Potosi, from their tour in commemoration of the anniversary of “La última noche del mundo”.
We want our music to be a roller coaster of emotions, where the listener can freely interpret the melodies, the silences, the explosiveness; and thus, make the songs their own, giving them a unique meaning.
Nostalgia, melancholy, emotionality, spontaneity, and aggressiveness are, for example, sensations that we try to capture in our compositions.

A mix of all our influences, mainly post rock, alt rock and psychedelic rock.
