Who are you and what do you do?

Answer:

My name is Jordan, but in the world of music I go by Lovly. I am a woman of many talents. This year I decided to finally give my writing and rapping skills the credit they deserve.

How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

This song is about my first REAL relationship that drastically shaped me in many ways, both good & bad.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

Walking around my home listening to music all the time. If it wasn't my mother playing Hip Hop, R&B or techno. Then my dad was playing Oldies.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?

Answer:

As a child I was very involved with the arts as well as sports. I've performed many of times, & have always liked to be the best at what I do.

What genres does this release play into?

Answer:

I'd say Hip Hop R&B & possibly Indie.

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?

Answer:

Drastically. I've completely stepped out of my comfort zone & I feel because of that I've been able to gain more exposure that way.

What is your overarching goal as an artist?

Answer:

To leave a legacy for my children.

What is the most significant lesson you've learned through being an artist?

Answer:

Just do it. Do not allow fear to drive you. Or else you'll never see how great you can truly be.
