About:
Jessica93 is a french project leaded by Geoff Laporte, based in Paris.
In 2005 Geoff starts his first band Natural Moustik, followed by Mobylette Facile in 2008. They toured in squats and bars for two years before they split up. A tape is released on Et Mon Cul C’est Du Tofu?, label Geoff created with David Snug and Pascal Benvenuti in 2009.
On parallel Geoff plays guitars in the band Louise Mitchels from 2008 to 2012, followed by a year with Besoin Dead, and did with them many tours across France, Europe and USA, while setting up another band with artist Julia Judet in 2008 called MissFist.
In 2010, on the advice of cartoonist and musician David Snug, Geoff tries a solo project using a looper pedal. Jessica93 was born.
In 2012 first Ep self titled was released on Et Mon Cul C’est Du Tofu? and several other labels.
In 2013, "Who Cares" on Teenage Menopause and Music Fear Satan received excellent feedback from the French indie rock scene.
In 2014 follows "Rise", on same labels which was selected album of the year on French indie rock magazine New Noise.
After working on a new lineup including musicians, "Guilty Species" in 2017, is an album meant to be played live as a band.
Until 2019 Jessica93 toured across Europe and Russia with a line up including David Snug (Trotski Nautique) Eric Bricka (Bitpart) and Henry Adam (T.I.T.S).
Now back as a solo act, sometimes accompanied by drummer Liam Sparkes (Trencher, Old Habit Tattoo) a new album is in preparation
