Youngblood Hawke is an Alternative Indie Pop band from Los Angeles, California. Inspired by the Herman Wouk novel of the same name, Youngblood Hawke is Sam Martin, Simon Katz, Tasso Smith, Alice Katz, and Nik Hughes. Following the success of their critically acclaimed debut album “Wake Up” which featured the Platinum single “We Come Running,” the band spent four years on the road touring with the likes of Panic At The Disco, Passion Pit, P!nk, Keane, and Walk The Moon. When they returned to Los Angeles, the band began working in the studio with a more collaborative process than on their debut album. Sam Martin and Simon Katz still did a lot of the heavy lifting, but Alice Katz, Tasso Smith, and Nik Hughes all contributed to the songwriting and the entire band recorded as a collective. The result has been a string of single releases and collaborations over the last few years with Vicetone, RAC, The Chainsmokers, and now finally a follow up album due Oct 9th, 2020 titled “Edge of the World.” The first release off of the new album is “Waking up the World” is out NOW.
