Lorenzo Mohr grew up inspired by the greats of rock n’ roll in Pecetto Torinese, a little country town outside of Torino, Italy. At the age of eight he started playing drums and strumming the guitar, on top of which he developed his singing voice. Soon he picked up a notebook and started writing songs of his own, which he performed locally. In 2018 he moved to New York City to pursue university. He won the 2019 NYU UltraViolet Live talent show and started performing in venues around the city both solo and with his live band. Given the positive reception he received, he went into the studio and recorded his first album. He described his first single, “I’ll Find My Road," as “the first song I’ve written that felt solid and complete, the motivation behind my decision to pursue music.” During his acoustic live sets you can hear Lorenzo improvise lyrics and chord progressions for hours at a time. Otherwise you can see him passionately performing his songs with the band, or writing in a notebook at a coffeeshop in downtown Manhattan. Lorenzo Mohr's debut album is out now on all platforms.
