John Buckley’s rather rapid growth in popularity began when he was living in Cornwall studying music at Truro College. He was content at the age of 15 playing open-mic nights and busking on the harbour when he began casually sharing acoustic covers of popular songs on his Facebook page. This really paid off for him, Buckley’s enchanting vocal and unique style shone through these simple, stripped back performances and he rightly gained a loyal following from it. BBC Introducing and Radio 1 picked up his own material and spread the word in 2016. Three releases and a string of festival performances later and it appears he’s en route to great things. - John recently now has just had a massive break from the industry to work on himself and his mental health, by travelling around Asia and Australia for a couple years - But is NOW BACK for 2020 and has new songs out RIGHT NOW.
