His sound is inspired by classic artists like Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and contemporary artists like Ne-Yo, Tauren Wells, and Jonathan McReynolds, to name a few. Initially starting out writing and recording pop and R&B, his music has been featured on shows airing on ABC, NBC, CBS, BET, VH-1, FOX, TLC, and Bravo. Born in New Jersey, but raised in the suburbs of Boston, MA, Jones is the son of a preacher/author, and high school guidance counselor. From his mid- 20s to early 30s, he was a lead singer in the Boston based band, SPLASH, performing at weddings and corporate events across New England. He was also the worship leader and drummer for his home church. In October of 2019, he released his 1st Christian/Gospel album, “For Your Encouragement” featuring uptempo songs like "Perfectly Designed", about appreciating how God made each one special and unique, and mid-tempo songs like "Mess of Me", a plea for forgiveness and acknowledging the need for God's grace. In early 2021, he collaborated with writers Toni Wortherly and Patrick Michael Dodge to create, "You Are", an uptempo single with the reassuring reminder that we are made in God's image, and that should be appreciated. Jones also started creating video devotionals on YouTube diving into the message of newer songs, and the bible verses that inspired the song. Jones is currently writing and producing new music to be released in the Spring of 2022. His latest release is "Wiser (Acoustic Version)".
