Crushed Stars is the indie dream-pop project of Todd Gautreau. The band's atomospheric blend of shimmering guitars with a dash of electronics is influenced by the likes of Felt and Galaxie 500. After signing to Portland's Arena Rock Records, Crushed Stars played SXSW and CMJ. The band then recorded a slew of albums for Simulacra Records working with producers John Congleton (St. Vincent, War on Drugs) and Stuart Sikes (Cat Power, Modest Mouse).
