Clara Baker is a indie Americana songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Portland, OR. Her sophomore release, Things To Burn (2019), was recorded live to tape in a Wisconsin living room with Grammy-winning engineer Brian Joseph (Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver) and avant-folk experimentalist Shane Leonard (Kalispell). The album features performances from Anna Tivel, Jeffrey Martin, Zachariah Hickman (Barnstar!, Josh Ritter) and Courtney Hartman. Clara tours nationally solo and with Portland folk trio Five Letter Word. Clara’s songwriting, singing and masterful guitar playing earned her a 4th place finish at the 2019 Telluride Troubadour Competition.
