The Song That GOT Me Into Kpop

Song reviewed by:

I have been ignoring Kpop for the longest time ever. No matter how many of my friends loved it and tried to get me into the fandom, I immediately rejected the idea. I was a fan of the Japanese culture and promised myself I would never succumb to the culture of Koreans. Although during summer I became more open minded and started watching Kdramas. Trust me, it wasn’t easy to stop when you got started. At around the second week of May it was my best friend’s birthday so we went to her house and celebrated. As we were making her birthday cake she insisted that we listen to music and god knows what happened to me after that. She played the music video of GOT7’s “Just Right” and I couldn’t take my eyes off of the screen. I just couldn’t. She noticed what was happening and further introduced me to the group. Now, I’m a total sucker for them.

Just Right is the third mini album of GOT7 following Got It? and Got Love. The song “Just Right” was also used to promote the EP. All of these are of course produced under JYP Entertainment.

The music video is just so fun to watch all in all. The miniature members go around a girl’s room and dance and sing to her. The song is so catchy and cute. The choreography also looks really fun. The meaning of the song definitely hit me as the members tell us that we are enough just the way we are. That we are just right and there is nothing else to change. That’s something that’s really touching for all of us fangirls out there.
