Joss Stone singing in Macedonian

Joss Stone is one of the biggest soul, R&B, blues artists today. She had a concert recently in my hometown, at the Skopje Jazz Festival 2016, which went great, with sold-out tickets one hour after the opening of ticket offices. But she did something very special one day before the concert - she recorded a duet with the excellent Macedonian singer Karolina Gocheva, singing one of Karolina’s beautiful songs. Joss Stone is doing a world tour and records with local artists, but this particular duet is more than beautiful. It won the sympathies of the audiences worldwide and hit ten times more liike and views on Youtube than any other song from this project. It’s a sad song, even for those who don’t understand Macedonian because they sing so lovely together, with lots of emotions and mutual respect. This is a perfect example of the power of music that transcends languages, cultures and nations.
