The Peppersplum is receiving great criticts and reviews with their second studio album “IS IT LOVE?” This album was nominated for IMAS awards of México, and for UFI awards in Spain, The Peppersplum are known for their perfect blend of rock, pop, music, lyrics and feelings that this arises.

THE PEPPERSPLUM formed by two sisters of music lovers, Marie and Sussie Fernandez are from Mexico City composers and performers of all their songs. In these times where there is a major generational gap, where the rock scene cries out for new music, comes a different project, with the best of the qualities that a creative work can have, originality and talent to fill the void. Their second CD "IS IT LOVE?" Is being very well received by the press and all the media. The song “DON’T YOU LET ME GO” was nominated in the people music awards in England, as well as the UFI awards of Spain, also participated in the IMAS awards in Mexico; and it was ranked among the 40 best in the festival of Coventry. The album is entirely for sale on iTunes and can be heard on Spotify.

Having reviews as the one of BeatleBabe journalist at Midland radio in Uk: -"What an interesting group. These two sisters from London/Mexico produce this sort of 80s, Euro-pop against brass and guitars that are very Beatle-esque. After awhile though, the vocal style of the songs wears thin with me and I keep visualising the Cheeky Girls." -Beatlebabe

The album consists of 11 original songs composed, and performed fully by The Peppersplum, as usually in the group all their songs are in English. As in their first studio work, they delivered a gift, a bonus track in another language this time in French. We recall that in thier first CD was a bonus track, the single LUNA AZUL in spanish, this time the honors are now to the multi laureated DONT YOU LET ME GO sounding in French, NE ME LAISSE PA'PARTIR. A journey of sounds, feelings, emotions, in a word essence of life itself. The album as always is mixed by the winner of a Latin Grammy with Cafe Tacuba the audio engineer Ricardo Arteaga, the rock part is with the producer who always accompanies them, Gerardo Australia who is a great musician, his last job was for the English series Down town abbey which has a wide audience.
