Kaye Cal is the former vocalist of the famous Ezra band. Although they have been in a hiatus for a few years, Kaye Cal’s solo career is still on-going. She is known for being a tomboy and having a masculine voice when singing. Although when in interviews, you can still hear the femininity in her voice when she talks.
Her band was in Pilipinas Got Talent and was also included in the album “Pinoy You Got It” under Star Records and Sony Music. The most famous song of their band is Walang Iba, which you can view below:
Kaye Cal is active on YouTube and does acoustic covers. This YouTube channel is like an addiction for me and I check it almost every week for a new upload. She has done cover of famous songs such as: Closer by The Chainsmokers, Chivalry is Dead by Trevor Wesley, and Sorry by Justin Bieber.
But my personal favorite is her cover of Statue by Lil Eddie:
