Palpitations For The Broken Hearted and Mistreated

Consider St. Paul & The Broken Bones the Gospel/Soul version of Arcade Fire. Mainly because the band consists of 6 multi-talented musicians. From touring internationally and having Ben Tanner from the Alabama Shakes producing their album Half The City...the up and up as they say, is a major factor in St. Paul & The Broken Bones career. After coming in contact with 'It's Midnight' by random selection and a radio show which happens to play the stuff that doesn't even get the time of day normally. Yet, someone out their with a heart of gold put on this song and gave us the gift of radical impression.

Take a moment to settle in before clicking play on 'It's Midnight', this song is not to be taken lightly. At first the horns come waltzing in then followd by standard Jazz progression. With only 2 minutes and half to it's name 'It's Midnight' emphasizes heartache to the nearest 100th percent. If heartache had been recorded from the heart palpitations of the human soul.

So far St. Paul & The Broken Bones are recording their second album which should be making waves soon enough.
