Steven H Scott Delivers the Goods on Albino Road

New Hampshire-based Steven H Scott impressed us earlier this year with his debut release, “Anywhere But Here”, a classical rock take on folk. This week, he blessed us with a softer release, “Albino Road”.    While “Anywhere But Here” built emotion through a powerful, more angsty vocal tone, “Albino Road” gently builds throughout the track, culminating in a warm medley of acoustic guitar, rolling piano, and the full strum of an electric guitar. As the electric guitar hits, Steven’s voice rises alongside it, powerfully filling the chorus.   Full of feeling, “Albino Road” sings of history repeating itself, of the cruel cycle society more often than not finds itself in, destined to repeat mistakes. Throughout the track, Steven weaves together a local legend of two albino boys, drowned by town elders for their unique appearance.
