Whether she’s holding notes with the strength of a suspension bridge, or lightheartedly singing falsetto tones of love; Lindsay Harper is simply phenomenal. “Electricity,” is the perfect description for this beautifully performed melodious gem. Lindsay’s voice is tempered, tuneful, and richly controlled as she slowly draws you in to this full-bodied track. From the melodic opening to the climatic vocal presence, “Electricity,” is an amazing arrangement of vocals, instrumentation, and talent. On “We Are All The Same,” Lindsay’s voice is somewhat nostalgic as she sings, “…cause we are all the same.” This track is actually a duet, and a powerful example of Lindsay’s ability to harmonize with her raspy voiced counterpart while remaining true to her own sound. Amazingly done with excellent pose, tone, and pitch. “It Was Worth It,” is more of a pop sound for Lindsay even still, there’s no denying her soulful tone. Her passion is exemplified in every note, her controlled vocal presence is sonorous and pure, a rare and talented gem. Her music is mature but fun, it’s the sound of a queen resiliently taking control of her art and creating magic. Beautifully done.
