Kingsborough Sets the Bar High with 1544

Kingsborough shares with us today their epic new release, “1544.”

It makes perfect sense and no sense at all that “Low Down,” is the first single from Kingsborough’s debut album “1544,” it works because it’s different. A guitar driven classic yet progressive sound coupled with the lead singers great tone & pitch. What I like most about this track is how climatic the choruses are in comparison to the verses, this is something you don’t hear every day, and that’s what makes it special.

“Where I Belong,” for me was a defining moment, from the minute I hit play I was a fan. This song is what sets Kingsborough apart from their peers, these guys have some serious chops – their powerhouse vocals can’t help but be the main attraction on whatever song they are on but the intro of “Where I Belong,” solidifies their vocal prowess.

While “Subtle Lies,” is another guitar driven masterpiece. The vocals are rich with very little reverb, very little effects just great quality and strength. The harmony on this one is crystal clear; and song is well constructed with a powerful chorus and rich instrumentation.

 “1544” is packed with more musical sincerity versus artifice, and that’s what we need more of right now.
