Virginia mainstays, VEXINE, have shared their new piece "Caught Up in the Tears." One of my personal favorites from their new album "Little Sin," which dropped this year, we hear a band that is steadily on the rise with a prominent sound that fills every inch of the musical plain. Frontwoman Sarah Gleason is a stunning vocalist who brings the song to a level that I didn't even know could be reached. The vibrancy and heartfelt emotion of the piece is a theme that carries throughout the record, and "Caught Up in the Tears" certainly does not fall short. Singer Gleason says of the record as a whole:
"For "Little Sin," we wanted to make a solid rock and roll statement. Something that you might hear on late night FM radio back in the day. The guitars are turned up, the drums are big and the performances are live. Sarah's voice is unadorned and real. "Every song on the album impresses as piece after piece delivers the sugary and often sultry goods. VEXINE puts the Rock back in Rock n' Roll, and we're excited to hear what 2017 brings for the group...our ears are eagerly awaiting.
