Armed with nearly a dozen Grammy awards, a portfolio of timeless songs, countless world tours and 5 absolutely brilliantly talented blokes – the Foo Fighters have been an unstoppable force in rock and pop music alike. Making history as one of the greatest rock bands of all time, these guys have come a long way since forming in 1994 and certainly don’t look to be slowing down anytime soon.

With eight studio albums firmly under their belt, Foo Fighter’s The Colour and The Shape showcased some of their biggest hits to date, including My Hero, Everlong and Monkey Wrench. It consumed a nation of grunge-rock fans who were hungry for a Nirvana substitute, but it also breathed its own power, passion and fiery energy that got a world of music lovers hooked. The 1997 album has been classified as one of Foo Fighters best. Maybe because it was their first ‘real’ album recorded as a band or just the simple fact it was – and still is – a freakin’ masterpiece of work.
