Coming up roses
Neon lights make love to my skin and flirt with my soul. They give beautiful flowers of love and anxiety to my soul. Neon lights of my dreams and dreamy waves of my whole life – they fulfill space around me. Everything is fulfilled with my hopes and dreams which are the realest reality in the world. They are so real now that I can’t even think about anything else. Everything is right here; everything I have ever wanted. Everything you have ever wished for. The violet and purple roses of my dreams spit their love on the dirty pavements and the shop-windows. Mannequins stare at me and share their silent agreement with me. Mannequins – my loyal friends – they know the deal. They know my feelings. Sometimes it seems like they know about my feelings much more than I do. Perhaps it’s true. I look into their eyes and find that special kind of beauty that gives you the creeps – that deep beauty of your perfect world reflecting in their eyes. The eyes are so real, so deep and understanding. Neon lights, shoegaze and mannequins. Steel roses and lips of lace. Smiles of sugar. I need some coffee, I need some chocolate. I need some beats pulsating like love. I wanna take all these mannequins and hide them in my basement. Roses are red, roses are black… These dummies are sad, these dummies have cracks… Don’t you ever kill your love. Don’t you ever test it, don’t you ever try it. Give me your hand, my love, and let’s explore the neon lights of the streets in this strange city together. We have no choice because we want it like that.
