Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats - Pusher Man/Remember Tomorrow

The renowned stoner doom/psychedelic rock band Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats recently came out with a new two track 7'' Single. Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats are well known for their stoner heavyness in the vein of Electric Wizard and Black Sabbath. The retro Sabbath vibe goes throughout the music of Uncle Acid and the new two track Single is no different in this, following on from their highly successful albums like ''Mind Control'' and ''Blood Lust''.

The first track on the Single is called ''Pusher Man'' and the track packs some mesmerizing and addictive Sabbtah'esque and Electric Wizard'like psychedelic stoner doom heavyness. Being like a mixture of both these bands, as well as of course Uncle Acid itself. The track screams of occult rock and 1970s horror films like ''The Dunwich Horror'', ''Mark Of The Devil'', ''Alucarda'' or countless others, being able to be the soundtrack for any of those, as well as for Dario Argento's films. Repetitive doom riffs with an occult feel and haunting vocals. Something that has become almost synonymous to Uncle Acid and Electric Wizard nowadays. The second track however is a lot more mellow in the beginning, and has a sort of a Black Sabbath and Nebula feel to it (despite being a cover of Iron Maiden), with the track starting with some eerie psych and moving to some stoner heavyness later on.

All in all the ''Pusher Man/Remember Tomorrow'' is one of the best Single's I have heard in a while and I look forward to another Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats Album, since the sings are there that it might be a great one once again.
