(2016)
Here I am! Did you miss me? I know you did! I am back again with some mineral water to refresh my poor body. It’s been a really, really hard month of troubles and drinking. My liver was crying, my stomach was drowning and my head was a box of insanity. But I am here anyways. Hello.
That’s why I want to tell you about some special thing right now. Well, I always do try to tell you about something special, yes. This time it is an album which could be a soundtrack for my June madness. This record is called “An Untroublesome Defencelessness”. It’s like worms in a rotting mind and a traumatized soul. An Untroublesome Defencelessness is a work of Japanese musicians who need no introduction: Merzbow and Keiji Haino, and a Hungarian drummer Balázs Pándi. Something truly wicked and tasty this way comes. Trust me these sounds are to be explored in a nighttime when you don’t know what to do and need hope. These sounds won’t give you hope. But they will make you feel like hope does exist. And it’s very important, especially when it comes to madness, troubles and alcohol.
An Untroublesome Defencelessness is noise experimental rock you have never dreamt about. Only these three guys can do this to your mind, body and soul. Their music can cure. Well, actually, it does cure even if you do not want it. Don’t fight it, swallow it. Swallow this album and beg for more.
This is the record of your own would where everything is familiar and only yours. Here – in this wood – thing are only yours. It’s your nursing home and your cave. Your hole of safety. Keep this album in a safe place.
