Singing about sex, drugs and rock n roll – and dominance and submissive relationships in between – The Rolling Stones drew society’s attention to what was considered evil vs. real. Living up to all expectations; Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and co. We’re not afraid to test the boundaries. Maybe that’s what made them so spectacular.

Lurking evil, sexuality, humor and exciting rock n roll riffs; The Rolling Stones encouraged an honestly raw atmosphere. Let It Bleed – released in 1969 – was the album that mattered most. Loaded with intense lyrics, catchy solos and mind melting bass riffs, it was the sweet and sour combination of eclectic musical touches, explicit blues and sexual deviance.

The album gels together stronger than most – reflecting them in a light were they were not afraid to be themselves, sing about whatever was on their minds or play music like nothing else mattered. And man, did it pay off. The album added color and variety to the musical palette, fusing a mix of rock and blues that challenged expectations and opinions beautifully.
