A Voice That Will Never Be Forgotten

You may have heard the rumors or you may not have. Whether or not, it’s too late as lingering ears were given proof of a replacement.  The rumors of Guns N' Roses’, Axl Rose, joining AC/DC are now verified and it’s all to be true.  AC/DC formally announced that Axl Rose will be joining them as their vocalist for the rest of the scheduled dates of their Rock or Bust World Tour.  In addition to this, it is to happen before Guns N' Roses begins their Not in This Lifetime Tour.

During the Rock or Bust World Tour, AC/DC announced the departure of Brian Johnson.  They further explained that he would risk total hearing loss if he were to continue performing for the rest of the tour. Brian Johnson stated that his hearing issues were not caused from performing for 36 years with AC/DC.  It was caused by having forgotten to put ear plugs in during a race that left him with a punctured left ear drum.  The decision was made this April 2016 that Axl Rose will replace longtime AC/DC vocalist Brian Johnson, who was forced to resign touring with AC/DC or risk the condition of his hearing.

AC/DC band members expressed their thanks to Brian Johnson for his contributions and dedication to the band throughout the years. They wanted to wish him only all the best with his hearing issues and future ventures. As things pointed to not turnout as they had planned, they further expressed their understanding, respect and support of Brian Johnson's decision. They have stated that they are dedicated to fulfilling the remainder of their touring commitments.  They do so for all their supporters over the years.  They also have stated how fortunate they are to have Axl Rose kindly offer his support to help fulfill this commitment.

Well, although "the original" (in regards to his voice, two singers before him were vocalists for AC/DC) is gone, we will definitely never forget Brian Johnson.  As they say, “The original is always the best” or even “The original is forever”.  We can only be happy that AC/DC found a formidable substitute, Axl Rose, for the completion of their world tour.  Rock on!
