Eternal Tapestry - A World Out Of Time

Eternal Tapestry are a renowned American psychedelic rock band from Portland. They have released a great number of fine albums through almost a decade. One of their best releases is undoubtedly ''A World Out Of Time'', which they released back in 2012. This album packs some really fine repetitive psychedelic rock with krautrock and progressive rock influences. It is a very consistent album that never gets boring, as Eternal Tapestry are not usually a band that follows the same worn out path of mediocre psych.

The best tracks on this fine album are probably ''Alone Against Tomorrow'' and ''The Weird Stone''. First of them is a pretty unconventional track as it seems to dwell quite a bit in the experimental prog realm as much as it does in the psych sphere. It features some uncanny and unusual prog guitars and a clear transcendant vibe. ''The Weird Stone'' on the other hand follows more closely to the lines of conventional psych rock, but does so in a truly catchy and enjoyable manner. Even though these two songs stand out for me, then the rest of the album is great as well. Maybe it be the mellow ''Sand Into Rain'' or the more far out psych rock of ''When I Was In Your Mind'' and ''Apocalypse Troll''. Both of them being all about some far out transcendant psych rock.

Altogether ''A World Out Of Time'' remains as one of the best Eternal Tapestry albums, and this is quite a feat in itself, as they have released a multitude of great and admired psychedelic rock albums through the years. Be sure to check this album out.
