Iggy Pop: Post Pop Depression

Whatta beautiful everything! Whatta beautiful Iggy and gorgeous Pop! I love Iggy Pop. I think we all do. Even if someone says – No! I don’t like Iggy Pop! I don’t like his music and bla-blah! – that means this someone loves Iggy too. This someone just lies. He tries to hide his special Iggy love behind a mask of lies and loud words. Perhaps his/her love is so special that it even scares this Pop lover. Everyone in this world is into Iggy Pop. Even trees and grass dance every single day and night to any of Iggy’s songs. And I think that’s fair. It’s the way it is to be. This is Iggy’s world but it wouldn’t be nothing without Pop. And if there is Pop, there will be Post Pop Depression. And you know what? This is the most light and beautiful depression I have ever experienced in my whole life. It’s better than post alcohol or any other depression for the simple fact it is Iggy Pop sharing his vision of depression with you.

Like my Special Someone said – The late Iggy Pop is so touching. And you know he really is. This “Post Pop Depression” made my whole day, week and even more.

I hate track-by-track reviews. They are boring and leave a potential listener no chance to be surprised; they are made for someone who trusts some guy even more than themselves. And it is offensive and so damn doomed. I hope you are not one of those listeners and readers. So f*ck track-by-track review; I wanna leave you a chance to imagine this album, get ready for its atmosphere and to be so surprised. Post Pop Depression is really touching and melancholic. And it’s so Iggy that you even can’t believe your own ears. You just realize that you love this guy. You’ve always loved him. There is no any reason for not loving Iggy Pop.

So this is my favorite late Iggy Pop's album. It is really worth listening, loving and being charmed with it. And finally, this is not an album review as you see. It’s a reminder that you love Iggy Pop. Yes you do.
