It’s pretty cold outside at the moment. It’s too much for me, a person who gets annoyed as hell when the weather is cold. I love winter but I hate cold. Yeah, don’t ask.
It’s -9 C around here wherever I am. I’m not sure where I am, but I do know exactly where I am going. I need some warmth and weird dancing. Need some magic to wake up and see the beauty of this world. So I turn on “Voodoo” by Indoor Life. And the whole situation is pretty controversial. I mean my feelings. It’s cold and uncomfortable but this Indoor music is so hot and sweaty, I don’t know, it feels like I’m going crazy.
Indoor Life is a classical art punk band from San Francisco, USA. And the Indoor Life sounds drill your head and eat your brain. The band’s melodies are nervous; they scream in agony trying to infect you with this madness. And you do get infected pretty soon. I’d rather say immediately!
Try Gilmore and Fillmore. Try Voodoo or Searching. Be careful you might be danced almost to death. Exhausted madman with a laughter of insanity – this is what you might become if you won’t be ready for this experiment.
Indoor Life is a special band for me, because they are true, the sound, the name is perfect; and this band was given to me by my Special Someone as a cozy surprise. Things like this keep you going.
So dance and forget about cold and sadness. Dance your pain away!
