Who doesn't love an anonymous artist? Well H.E.R. is that anonymous artist we can't help but want to know more about (of course). With vocals as smooth as silk and tender as a Jazz melody heard at 2 a.m. Why can't this dreamy voice be everywhere, at every time of day and night? H.E.R.'s track 'Every Kind Of Way' is the love song or ballad we all want to be written about someone or ourselves. Give us a little room just to play this song over and over. As you can tell I am in love with this song, or rather this song is how love sounds when you've fallen hard for another.
After searching more about H.E.R. this is what we know. RCA Records artist, like that of Alicia Keys. After RCA released a seven-track EP by H.E.R. the internet was ablaze with trying to put a name to the voice. A quick fact the name (drum roll, please) is Gabi Wilson! Which you've more than likely seen on television. From covering an Alicia Keys song on Maury for a talented kids episode. School Gyrls which was on Nickelodeon and directed by Nick Cannon and even performing on the 2014 BET Music Awards. However, it would be with the alias of H.E.R. that would set people running around trying to figure out, find the seven-song EP or simply retweeting about the artist.
Luckily we are hitting a new ear for music. Supremely talented singers and talented producers are stepping forward by releasing subtle EP's waiting to be discovered.
